The cheapest set of aluminum poles is the 1/2″ aluminum pole, which comes in two colors, blue and black.
We reviewed this set last year and it sold out very quickly.
You can find it on Amazon for $6–8, but if you buy one from the store, the price is listed at $3.99, which is more than double the price of the pole.
If you have an aluminum pole that you’ve used for years and you want it replaced, consider getting a replacement pole for less.
We recommend purchasing an aluminum extension pole from a retailer such as Sears, Wal-Mart or Lowe’s for $1.99.
The extension pole will keep your aluminum pole looking new for a very long time, and it will keep it from falling off.
You may be surprised to learn that a pole can be replaced for $2.99 when you buy it from a store, which includes a 1/4″ bolt, screw and nut.
If you’re buying a pole from the hardware store, you’ll be able to choose between a 5/16″ bolt and a 1-1/4″ screw.
You’ll also be able take the length of the aluminum pole with you if you want.
You may also find that you can get a replacement aluminum pole for under $2 at a hardware store.
The easiest way to find a pole to replace is to take your existing pole and buy an extension pole for $3 or $4.
Get an aluminum extensions from Lowe’s or Amazon for under half the price.
Then, you can either replace the extension pole with a 1 1/8″ aluminum extension or buy an aluminum poles for $5–6.
If buying a metal pole, the aluminum extension is the best value.
You can also save money by replacing your aluminum poles with a metal extension pole, but you’ll need to have a pole that is 6″ tall and at least 7″ wide to do so.
If your poles are only 7″ tall or narrower, you won’t be able add a metal piece to the pole that will give you an extra $2 to $3 in additional pole cost.
